Care Instructions
Grip socks live or die on the silicone. Treat it well and a pair lasts a long time.
Wash cold, inside out. Turning them inside out protects the grip from abrasion against the drum, and from zips and hooks on other garments.
Use a mesh laundry bag. Cheapest thing you can do to extend their life.
Skip the fabric softener. It leaves a film that sits on top of the silicone and kills the grip. This is the single most common way people ruin grip socks.
Air dry. Heat is what degrades silicone. No tumble dryer, no radiator, no direct sun. Lay flat or hang.
Do not iron, bleach, or dry clean.
Between classes. Air them out rather than balling them into your bag. They will last longer and smell better.
If the grip feels slick, it is usually residue rather than wear. Wash once with plain detergent and no softener, air dry fully, and it typically comes back.
